BRERETON AND RAVENHILL PARISH COUNCIL
Minutes of a meeting of the Finance and Management Committee held at the Parish Hall, Ravenhill Park, Brereton, on Wednesday, 14th October 2020.
Present
Councillors Mrs DM Easton [Chairman], Alderman R Easton and Mrs L Johnson.
Apologies for absence were received from Councillors Mrs P Ansell, K Ansell, Mrs G Harvey and JC Harvey.
Mr PG Davies, the Parish Clerk, was also in attendance.
DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
There were no declarations given at the commencement of the meeting.
MINUTES
RESOLVED
That the minutes of the meeting held on 2nd September 2020, be approved and signed as a correct record.
ACCOUNTS FOR PAYMENT
The Clerk circulated a schedule of accounts for payment.
RESOLVED
That authority be given for the payments included on the submitted schedule.
FINANCE REPORT
The Report of the Clerk showing the income and expenditure of the Parish Council as at
31st August 2020, was submitted for information and noted.
NATIONAL PAY AWARD 2020/2021
The Clerk updated Members with details of the annual pay award agreed by the negotiating machinery for all Local Government employees. The award took effect from 1st April 2020.
RESOLVED
That the pay award be adopted in full for the two Parish Council employees.
BUS SHELTERS
Alderman R Easton kindly undertook to obtain quotations for treating the bus shelters. Members considered that regular maintenance was essential for keeping the shelters in good condition.

That the next meeting be held on 4th November 2020, at 8.00 p.m.
