BRERETON AND RAVENHILL PARISH COUNCIL
Minutes of a meeting of the Finance and Management Committee held at the Parish Hall, Ravenhill
Park, Brereton, on Wednesday, 5th September 2018.
Present
Councillors Miss IJ Brown [Chairman], K Ansell, Mrs DM Easton, R Easton and Mrs G Harvey.
Apologies for absence were received from Councillors Mrs P Ansell and Miss C Harvey.
Mr PG Davies, the Parish Clerk, was also in attendance.
1. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
There were no declarations given at the commencement of the meeting.
2. MINUTES
RESOLVED
That the minutes of the meeting held on 18th July 2018, be approved and signed as a
correct record.
3. ACCOUNTS FOR PAYMENT
The Clerk circulated a schedule of accounts for payment.
RESOLVED
That authority be given for the payments included on the submitted schedule.
4. FINANCE REPORT
The Report of the Clerk, showing the income and expenditure of the Parish Council as at
31st July 2018, was submitted for information and noted.
5. “A STEP BACK IN TIME”
The Clerk reported that the PCSOs were hosting a Dementia Awareness Day on
17th November 2018, between 10.30 am and 2.30 pm at Rugeley Community Centre. The
day – “A Step Back in Time” – was designed to raise awareness of dementia.
The PCSOs had enquired as to whether the Parish Council could make a small donation in
support of the day.
RESOLVED
That a donation of £25.00 be authorised towards this worthy cause.

That the next meeting be held on 3rd October 2018, at 8.00 p.m.
