Minutes of a meeting of the Planning Committee held at the Parish Hall, Ravenhill Park, Brereton,
on Tuesday, 4th April 2017.
Present
Councillors PA Fisher and N Parton.
Also Present
Councillor Miss IJ Brown, R Easton, H Farnath and Miss C Harvey.
Apologies for absence were received from Councillors Mrs P Ansell, TA Jones, GN Molineux and
Mrs HJ Southwell.
Mr PG Davies, the Parish Clerk, was also in attendance.
1. APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN
In the absence of both the Chairman and Vice-Chairman, it was
RESOLVED
That Councillor PA Fisher be appointed Chairman for this meeting.
2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
No declarations of interest were given at the commencement of the meeting.
3. MINUTES
RESOLVED
That the minutes of the meeting held on 7th March 2017, be approved and signed as a
correct record.
4. PLANNING DECISIONS
There were no planning decisions for submission to this meeting.
5. PLANNING APPLICATIONS
RESOLVED
That the following comments be submitted to the District Council on the planning
applications listed below:-

6. LICHFIELD DISTRICT COUNCIL – LOCAL PLAN ALLOCATIONS
The Clerk reported that the consultative process on Local Plan Allocations for Lichfield
District Council had commenced, with comments invited before 12th May 2017.

7. RUGELEY POWER LIMITED – SECOND ACCESS POINT TO POWER STATION SITE
The Clerk circulated a letter from ENGIE indicating that they would be submitting a planning
application to Lichfield District Council for a new second entrance into the site. Plans
showing the proposal were circulated at the meeting.
RESOLVED
That in thanking ENGIE for notifying the Parish Council of their intentions, they be asked to
ensure that a full copy of the planning application is sent to this Parish Council for comment.
